Is digital the answer to all our prayers? No. Of course not. That would be world peace.
But, if you belive all that you read at the moment magazines and newspapers only have a few years left, no-one will be paid to write a thing, and if you don't have twitter account you don't exist. Please remember:
A computer cannot cut your hair
A website cannot fix your car
Social networking won't give you a cuddle after a bad day
It might seem like the whole world is online but it only seems like that.
Some of us go back to the old marketing drawing board. Just to check.

Content is King
I highly recommend this article from Marketing Week for so many reasons I don't know where to start. Just read it!
Stop putting social media cart before content horse
Some fundamental rules apply, for me 'content is king' is one of those rules that you ignore at your peril. Even now as much as we are told that digital is the 'only' way forward, this rule holds firm. If a website bores you within 10 seconds, who on earth do you think will be looking at your advert. Web stats are good indicators but it's not all down to who's got the highest figures. Niche websites get more loyalty and trust. Stats aren't just numbers, somewhere in there, there's a person looking for a new cat or advice on pensions or the latest celebrity gossip, you just got to get their attention...
